1.) Amarillo/Canyon, TX
trip- I really enjoyed my trip to the Amarillo/Canyon, Texas region. I was
there visiting one of my best friends. Even though I live in the Lone Star
State, I have never been in that part of Texas before. It’s a great place to
visit for a spontaneous weekend getaway. If you are ever in that region, I
suggest checking out The Palo Duro Canyons, Cadillac Ranch, and The Big Texan
restaurant.
2.) Crop Tops- I’ve
have been obsessed with crop tops lately. They are perfect for summer. When styled right, the crop top is chic and
sexy at the same time. I like to pair my crop tops with a pair of high waisted
shorts or a skirt. If you are reluctant about showing off your midriff, you can pair
a sweater crop top over a button down shirt or you can pair a crop top with a jacket or
a cardigan.
3.) Covergirl Foundation-
The Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 foundation is becoming one of my
new favorite foundations. I like the coverage of the foundation. It feels light
on your face and it’s not cakey feeling. I also like that it stays on and looks
fresh for a long time. I wore the foundation the other day and after a few
hours, it still looked like I just applied the foundation. I have fair skin, so
I bought it 842 medium beige and I applied the foundation with a foundation
brush.
4.) Afterlight App- Afterlight is an app that you can use to edit
your photos on your phone. The app has a
bunch of different filters you can use. The filters are different from the ones
Instagram offers. Afterlight offers a wider array of filter options. You can
also adjust how much of the filter you want to use by adjusting the percentage
amount. They also have cool photo effects you can add to your pictures like
light leaks, boarders where you can make your photo into the shape of a circle,
triangle, etc. , and you can give your photo an old timey look.
5.) Mansfield,Texas Murals- One of my favorite things is discovering
new street art and murals. The murals and artwork that are in Mansfield, Texas
are ones to check out. I love how downtown Mansfield has incorporated creative
murals in a place where you would never expect to discover them.
You will find murals of John Lennon, Jimi
Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and Charlie Chaplin. My other favorite murals are of a
grumpy cat, a woman with colorful hair,
and the sunshine girl. Mansfield also has different colorful walls
that are perfect to take photos at. Downtown Mansfield has become one of my
favorite locations to take my blog photos at! You can find more information
about the murals
